Katie Ginsbach is an Instructor of Spanish and has been at St. Norbert College since 2017. She is a licensed educator who has taught at all levels, and she specializes in 19th, 20th and 21st-century Peninsular literature. Her research and teaching interests include Spanish literature and culture, the historical novel and historical memory, as well as media, film and television studies. Her most recent scholarship analyzes the ways that the distant past is remembered and portrayed in contemporary Spanish society.

Throughout her teaching career, she has looked for innovative ways to immerse students in the target language and teach them about Hispanic cultures. She is passionate about using technology as a means to connect students to the world beyond the classroom, while also facilitating cultural awareness and understanding.
